We build race-engineered marine textiles for yachts in the Caribbean — covers, bags and full packages — from our loft in Palma de Mallorca. Half the fleet we work on in the Med crosses in November; the gear crosses with it, or ships out to meet the boat.

◆ WHY A PALMA LOFT

Briefed Before the Crossing

The Caribbean season is won in the Med. Boats that brief us during the European summer cross with their textiles fitted and proven — and boats that don’t can still have a package built remotely and shipped to the dock in Antigua. Our founder’s twenty years inside America’s Cup and Grand-Prix programmes is the standard either way: gear that feels like part of the boat, not an afterthought.

◆ HOW WE WORK THE ISLANDS

Cross With It, or Ship It Out

Patterning happens where the boat is — usually in the Med before the crossing, on the dock in Antigua when the project calls for it. Where it doesn’t, we build remotely from CAD, photos and measurements and ship the package in, the same way we deliver to boats we never step aboard. One point of contact, gear that fits.

Travel is quoted per project; remote builds ship worldwide.

◆ WHAT WE LOOK AFTER IN THE CARIBBEAN

Race Season and Winter Season

The racing side runs from the Caribbean 600 through Antigua Sailing Week — sail bags, boom and deck covers, quick-release gear for programmes campaigning the islands. The cruising and superyacht side is the winter fleet: biminis and awnings sized for tropical sun, spray hoods and cockpit enclosures, and the hardware, winch and tender covers that keep a deck yacht-clean through a season on the hook. Caribbean UV is a materials problem — and materials are the job.

◆ WHERE THE WORK GOES

English Harbour and Falmouth Harbour

Antigua’s twin harbours are the centre of gravity: the superyacht docks at Falmouth Harbour Marina and the race village around English Harbour and Nelson’s Dockyard. That’s where packages land, where we pattern when we’re on-island, and where the season starts and ends.

Boat lying elsewhere — St Maarten, the Virgins, Grenada for hurricane season? The package ships to any island.

It Doesn't Change With the Postcode

Whether the boat's in Palma, Antibes or Monaco, it's the same Weathermax and Serge Ferrari cloth, the same race-built patterning, the same finish. The coast changes; the standard doesn't.
