My passion for sailing led me to into a career in sailmaking, which I started as a 13 year old, helping out after school in a small sail loft in New Zealand. Since then I have done 3 America’s Cups with Team Alinghi as well as working for various Grand Prix sailing teams, like RAN Racing for 3 seasons and I am currently involved in the Sail GP circuit.”

At Loft Customs, when we design and manufacture a product, we go beyond trying to meet our client’s requests, we are committed to provide the best products on the market. We like to work closely with our clients and get them involved in the design process. We incorporate unique ideas and superior construction methods to improve existing systems and come up with new solutions. We look to outside industries to see what we can apply to our products and keep them at the forefront.

We carefully create every part of our product to be lightweight and strong and all our products only leave the Loft once they look and fit perfectly.
Materials
Our technical knowledge allows us to use only the best suited quality materials, ranging from sail materials like Cuben FibreTM, 3DiTM and Pure Composite to canvas materials like CovermasterTM and SunbrellaTM.
