We build race-engineered marine textiles for US East Coast yachts — covers, bags and full packages — from our loft in Palma de Mallorca. The Atlantic runs both ways: boats we build for in the Med summer in Newport and winter in Florida, and the gear follows the boat.

A Standard Newport Recognises

The East Coast fleet knows race-built when it sees it. Our founder’s twenty years inside America’s Cup and Grand-Prix campaigns includes programmes flying US flags — Bella Mente among them — and the loft still builds for boats that race both sides of the Atlantic. That’s the pedigree behind every package that ships west.

◆ HOW WE WORK THE STATES

Built Remotely, Delivered Ready

Most US work is built remotely from CAD, photos and measurements and shipped in ready to fit — the same way we deliver to boats we never step aboard. Where a project calls for it, we travel for patterning. Either way: one point of contact, and gear that fits like it was designed with the boat.

Travel is quoted per project; remote builds ship worldwide.

◆ WHAT WE LOOK AFTER STATESIDE

Summer Season, Winter Yard

In season it’s the race fleet and the harbours that host it: sail bags, boom and deck covers, quick-release gear for Maxi and Grand-Prix programmes, and full packages for the superyachts anchored off Newport. In winter the work moves south with the boats — refit-timed textile packages delivered to the Florida yards, ready to fit before the Caribbean season starts.

◆ WHERE THE WORK GOES

Newport, New York, South Florida

Newport is the summer centre of gravity — the harbour, Long Wharf and the yards around it. New York is where the owners and programmes are run from. And South Florida — Palm Beach and the Riviera Beach yards — is the refit stop where packages land before the fleet heads to the islands.

Boat lying elsewhere on the coast — Annapolis, Charleston, Maine for the summer? The package ships to any US port.

It Doesn't Change With the Postcode

Whether the boat's in Palma, Antibes or Monaco, it's the same Weathermax and Serge Ferrari cloth, the same race-built patterning, the same finish. The coast changes; the standard doesn't.
