We build race-engineered marine textiles for UK yachts — covers, bags and full packages — from our loft in Palma de Mallorca. The Solent is where British sailing lives, and plenty of the fleet we work on in the Med calls it home; the gear travels both ways.

Pedigree the Solent Recognises

Solent programmes know what race-built means. Our founder spent twenty years inside America’s Cup and Grand-Prix campaigns before opening the loft, and the same standard runs through every job — from a one-off spray hood to a full fitout for a boat heading to the Fastnet start. UK boats that race the Med season already know us; the rest are one brief away.

◆ HOW WE WORK THE UK

Travel In, or Ship In

We come to the boat for patterning where the project needs it — Portsmouth, the Hamble, Cowes — and where it doesn’t, we build remotely from CAD, photos and measurements and ship the package in, ready to fit. One point of contact, gear that fits like it was designed with the boat.

Travel is quoted per project; remote builds ship worldwide.

◆ WHAT WE LOOK AFTER IN THE UK

Race Fleet, Cruisers and Winter Refits

Sail bags, boom and deck covers and quick-release gear for the race fleet; sprayhoods, cockpit enclosures and full cover sets for cruising yachts that live in British weather; and complete textile packages timed to a winter refit, delivered ready to fit before relaunch. UK conditions are a materials brief in themselves — and materials are the job.

◆ WHERE THE WORK GOES

Portsmouth, Port Solent and the Solent Shore

Portsmouth Harbour and Port Solent are the natural landing points — marina berths, lock access and yards within reach of the whole Solent. From there the work spreads with the fleet: Cowes for the racing calendar, the Hamble’s yards, and any UK marina a package can be shipped to.

Whether the boat's in Palma, Antibes or Monaco, it's the same Weathermax and Serge Ferrari cloth, the same race-built patterning, the same finish. The coast changes; the standard doesn't.
